Regeneration Stem

He cannot keep trying to protect and water
A flower that has already budded and bloomed.
Petals will fall slowly and they will not be picked up.
Color will fade, and essence will grow pungent
Until the earth claims original beauty back.
Stem remains
And within him the memory of all beautiful lessons
Once nourishing his purpose and rigidity.
Suddenly, he beholds a new bud.
Boldly he must renew his love,
And witness a mysterious bloom.
Beware where you are petrified and
Let
New
Love
Flow.
